Important information about your membership
Perth Zoo membership cards do not have your picture printed on them, however, your picture will still be taken and your identity will be confirmed when you are scanned into the Zoo. Please remember to carry Perth Zoo membership ID with you at all times in order to access your Perth Zoo member benefits at the Zoo Shop.
+ Are Perth Zoo memberships refundable and transferable?
Zoo Friends membership is non-refundable and non-transferable and Perth Zoo reserves the right to cease activation of a membership should the holder breach the terms of their membership through:
- Transferring their card to another party
- Misrepresenting themselves
- Acting inappropriately
- Intentionally harming Perth Zoo property (flora, fauna or facilities)
- Using material (still or video footage) for commercial purposes

+ Visiting Taronga Zoo - Sydney
When visiting Taronga Zoo you will need to go to the Zoo Friends Office (located outside of the top main entrance) when you arrive. Taronga Zoo will then validate your memberships and give you a day pass to access the Zoo. This cannot be done at the entry gate.
+ Are You A Zoos Victoria Member?
Zoos Victoria child members (ages of 4-15) who live outside Victoria no longer receive free entry at the following Zoos, but will be required to pay normal admission to enter:
- Perth Zoo (WA)
- Taronga Zoo (NSW)
- Taronga Western Plains Zoo (NSW)
- Adelaide Zoo (SA)
- Monarto Zoo (SA)
I am an Adult Zoos Victoria Member. Does it affect me? It does not affect Zoos Victoria adult Members, wherever they live, who will still enjoy free admission to all of the above Zoos.
Does it affect my child who lives in Victoria? It does not affect Zoos Victoria child members who live in Victoria, who will still enjoy free admission to all of the above Zoos. It only affects child members who live in states other than Victoria and Tasmania.
