Cost: $13.50 per student The Geographical, Earth and Environmental Sciences Year 10 Forum (GEES Day) is a one-day event which showcases exciting career choices for year 10 students. Presenters from different organisations will share their experiences and engage students in hands-on activities to learn and get excited about geography, earth science and the environment. There will be presentations from the Department of Fisheries, APEX Geoscience Australia Limited, ChemCentre, University of Western Australia, Department of Environment and Conservation, Western Australian Museum and much more. School groups can attend either the morning program from 9:30 am–11:30 am or afternoon program from 12:00 pm–2:00 pm. Both include three sessions. Groups are encouraged to extend their visit and explore the Zoo either before or after their sessions. Those who wish to proceed with their applications after this session will be interviewed and successful applicants will then be required to undertake a compulsory training course. This intensive but fun training program is spread across ten consecutive Saturdays from June to August.
