Ele Art
Elephants are natural artists. In the wild Elephants are known to doodle in the dirt with sticks - from a basic scratching to intricate ‘designs’. Ele Art is part of Perth Zoo’s enrichment program and keeps the Elephants stimulated, healthy and happy. The paints used are water and vegetable based and are non-toxic.

Permai: A very enthusiastic artist. Her sprays are very powerful and can vary from fine symmetrical shapes to large globs of paint.
Tricia: Her artwork is delicate and gentle and often ends up with irregular-shaped splatters.
Putra Mas: His sprays can be very powerful with a symmetrical and even distribution of colour on his canvas.

Where does the money go?
Funds raised from the sale of these products go directly towards Perth Zoo’s fundraising program ‘Wildlife Conservation Action’. WCA provides vital funds to support threatened species in the wild. 100% of proceeds and donations go towards projects such as rescued-animal rehabilitation, veterinary supplies, habitat protection, anti-poaching patrol units, community education, wildlife monitoring and research.
