Into Wildlife

Into Wildlife is a one-day seminar ideally suited to secondary school students 15 years or over.

It provides insight into relevant tertiary courses and the variety of careers available working with animals.

You will:

  • hear from guest speakers from tertiary institutions and conservation organisations
  • get tips on making contacts and ‘getting your foot in the door’ to competitive and exciting careers working with wildlife
  • get an in-depth look at the work of zoo keepers.

Cost: $50 or $45 for Zoo Friends (GST Inclusive)

Students are to provide their own lunch and snacks. Please help the environment by avoiding overly-packaged food items and cling wrap. Remember to bring a refillable drink bottle.

Please wear enclosed footwear and bring a raincoat in the event of wet weather.
