The Geographical, Earth and Environmental Sciences Year 10 Forum (GEES Day) is a one-day event which showcases exciting career choices for year 10 students. Presenters from different organisations will share their experiences and engage students in hands-on activities to learn and get excited about geography, earth science and the environment.
There will be presentations from the Department of Fisheries, APEX Geoscience Australia Limited, ChemCentre, University of Western Australia, Department of Environment and Conservation, Western Australian Museum and much more.
School groups can attend either the morning program from 9:30 am–11:30 am or afternoon program from 12:00 pm–2:00 pm. Both include three sessions. Groups are encouraged to extend their visit and explore the Zoo either before or after their sessions.

This event is a collaboration between the Australian Association for Environmental Education, AuSSI-WA, Earth Science Western Australia, Edith Cowan University, Geography Association of Western Australia, Perth Zoo, Science Teachers Association of Western Australia and the University of Western Australia.
