Perth Zoo’s 2011 Conservation Calendar
The 2011 Perth Zoo Conservation Calendar is full of stunning photographs of animals at Perth Zoo, most of which are under threat. The calendar also introduces you to some of the Perth Zoo staff who work to help secure a future for these species in the wild. This page features links to interviews with these staff where you will find out how they became involved in conservation and learn about the animals they are passionate about. You will also discover some ways how you can help to make a difference to threatened species.
Perth Zoo staff and all people who are passionate about conservation share one vision: we can make a difference! Without the efforts of those who spend much of their personal time educating the community, working with partner conservation organisations, fundraising and protecting habitats, the world would have already lost many more species.
We hope these interviews will inspire you to join the growing number of people fighting to save these and other species from extinction.
If we have inspired you to get involved in conservation, learn how Perth Zoo can help. Visit www.perthzoo.wa.gov.au/act.
