How long is the working week?

A Rostered Keeper at Perth Zoo works a three week roster cycle that includes working 2 weekends in three (7 days on, 4 days off, 7 days on, 3 days off). They work an 8 hour day rostered between 6am and 6pm dependent upon section, with 24 minutes a day accruing towards one rostered day off every four weeks. Rostered permanent Keepers at Perth Zoo accrue six weeks annual leave per year, 13 weeks long service leave (after 10 years continuous service), ten days sick leave per year, are supplied with uniforms, are eligible for study assistance, and have access to training and development opportunities and permanency within the Western Australian Public Sector.
