There are lots of holes dug in my lawn each night – what does this?

Most of the digging of holes is done by Southern Brown Bandicoots (also known as Quenda). They are a very attractive marsupial that can grow to the size of a large rabbit and have a long snout and short tail. They were once plentiful in the Perth metropolitan area, however habitat destruction and predation by foxes and feral cats has reduced their number.
