Perth Zoo operates a retail outlet — Zoonique — located just inside the Zoo Entrance, and a mobile cart carrying popular animal merchandise.

Many items in Zoonique are 100% Australian made and friendly to the environment.

Stylish clothing, fun novelties, beautiful jewellery, an extensive range of soft toys, books and videos are available to inspire you with the wonders of nature.

You don’t have to visit the Zoo to go wild in Zoonique, simply ask for your 'Zoo Shopper Pass' at the main Zoo entrance.

Elephant Paintings

Exclusive! Paintings by Perth Zoo elephants.

Elephants are natural artists. They are well known to doodle in the dirt with sticks — from a basic scratching to quite intricate 'designs'.

As a means to reinforce basic training instructions and to provide enrichment to our group of Asian Elephants, Perth Zoo elephant keepers provide the elephants with easle, paper, brush and bright paints. Tricia, Teduh and Permai each paint with their own distinctive style and colour-preference.

These paintings are for sale in the Zoo Shop. By purchasing one of these unique, delightful paintings you help Perth Zoo continue its conservation work and part-proceeds are directed to elephant conservation, in-situ.
