Wildlife Conservation Action

Get in on the action and raise money to help save threatened wildlife. Perth Zoo established Wildlife Conservation Action (WCA) to support the conservation of species in the wild.

The Zoo covers all administration costs so 100% of all donations go toward conservation projects including habitat protection, anti-poaching patrol units, community education, wildlife monitoring and research into threatened species.

Aside from raising funds to support vital on-the-ground conservation work, your school’s involvement in Wildlife Conservation Action will also increase awareness of conservation and environmental issues. Each school can tailor their fundraising according to their needs. The program could be run across the whole school or in small groups (eg special interest groups or curriculum programs). It could be run as a short- or long-term project. Fundraising for WCA can be integrated across the curriculum or work as a standalone program.
