Biology Day - A Conservation Conference
A one-day conservation conference for Year 11 and 12 Biology students consisting of formal presentations and small group workshops conducted by Perth Zoo staff and representatives from other conservation organisations. The program focuses on some of the current environmental issues facing Western Australia and the different strategies being implemented.

Tiwest Night Stalk
1 September to 16 October
Australia’s marsupials are in trouble and need your help! Get a group together, grab a torch and survey your local area.
It’s so easy for schools to participate in this national spotlight survey focusing on the numbers and distribution of marsupials and feral pests.
If you would like to have some fun and at the same time help Australian scientists and conservation agencies, you can take part in this year's Tiwest Night Stalk.

Junior Wildlife Conference
This year the conference is a celebration of 2008 Year of the Frog and conservation at Perth Zoo. One hundred students from Years 4–8 will take part in workshops, including behind-the-scenes tours, special talks and activities, to learn how they can contribute to a better future for our environment.

Teacher Twilight
Take a walk on the wild side and explore Perth Zoo at dusk during this unique PD. Learn how the Zoo can support your students across all learning areas through a range of on-site and off-site resources and services.
