Teacher Zoo Snoozzz

Discover the magic of the Zoo during this special teacher-only sleepover. Find out about Zoo programs that will inspire and engage your students and how to integrate these into the wildest classroom adventures ever. This is no ordinary teacher PD! Each Zoo Snoozzz runs from 2.30pm Friday afternoon through to 10am Saturday morning.

BannerWild Ways Conservation Art Project

The Wild Ways Conservation Art Project uses art as a vehicle to raise awareness about conservation issues, promoting positive action to encourage people to care for precious ecosystems in both Asia and Western Australia.

Perth Zoo and Access Asia will be hosting a free Wild Ways Teacher Workshop at Perth Zoo (Homestead Barn) on Saturday 3 May 2008 from 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Junior Wildlife Conference

This year the conference is a celebration of 2008 Year of the Frog and conservation at Perth Zoo. One hundred students from Years 4–8 will take part in workshops, including behind-the-scenes tours, special talks and activities, to learn how they can contribute to a better future for our environment.

Just So!Just So!

Presented by Rough Magic Theatre, Just So! is an exciting journey through jungles and across deserts to discover amazing animal tales like How the Elephant got its Trunk and How the Kangaroo got its Tail. This is a splendid winter treat and a wonderful introduction to the world of theatre for primary school children.

Going Ape - Primate PD

TEE Human Biology teachers are invited to re-discover the world of primates at Perth Zoo. Participants will take part in a unique behind-the-scenes visit and a close encounter with a resident from Madagascar! This opportunity will expand your primate knowledge and experiences to help make Human Biology 'come alive' for you and your students
