Key Event Information

Perth Zoo events are ticketed, limited capacity events. It is strongly recommended that tickets are pre-purchased to avoid disappointment.

To ensure the safety of patrons and animals, Perth Zoo reserves the right to limit or decline general Zoo entry for any Zoo event at any time, once capacity is reached. This does not apply to pre-purchased tickets.

Tickets are non-refundable and not replaceable if lost, so please look after your tickets.  You must have your ticket with you for entry.

Tickets can be pre-purchased at Perth Zoo’s entrance, at Ticketmaster on 136 100 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.au. Ticketmaster booking fees apply.

Alcohol

The consumption of alcohol is restricted to the lawn area. Patrons are responsible for the safe and appropriate storage and security of their alcohol. The Zoo is a family venue and visitors consuming alcohol are asked to respect this. Park Management Officers (Zoo Security) have the authority to remove anyone deemed to behave inappropriately. Alcohol is available for purchase at a reasonable price and we encourage visitors wishing to consume alcohol to make use of this service.

BYO Blankets & Chairs

For the enjoyment and comfort of all event patrons please note the front of the lawn will be allocated for blankets only, the middle section for patrons bringing low-level chairs (without high backs), while patrons with regular chairs will be allocated space at the rear of the lawn. For the consideration of others behind you please collapse prams during the concert when not in use.

Dance Area

There is a dance area on the lawn in front of the stage for all musical concert events. If sitting close to the stage, please be aware that this dance area can get crowded and may obstruct your view of the performance.

Opening Hours

Perth Zoo is open every day of the year, including all public holidays. Normal opening hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm unless otherwise specified. The Zoo will close at 4:00pm on 31 December 2009 prior to Peters Drumstick Happy Zoo Year.

Parking

Ticketed parking is available at the corner of Labouchere and Richardson Roads and also in the carparks off Mill Point Road and just north of the main entrance on Labouchere Road. Disability parking is available at the small Zoo car park adjacent to the Zoo entry on Labouchere Road and in the Mill Point Road car park - both are a short, flat distance from the Zoo's entry.
