Reproductive Biology Unit  
The Reproductive Biology Unit is dedicated to research and development in the field of reproductive biology of threatened species. The unit is charged with furthering conservation research and increasing understanding of the natural world.

Native Species Breeding Program  
Perth Zoo's Native Species Breeding Program (NSBP) is the central focus for many of the captive breeding and research projects concerned with the conservation of Western Australian fauna.

Research Collaborations  
Since 2001, Perth Zoo has been offering opportunities for and actively encouraging research projects to be conducted on its premises. These include undergraduate, post-graduate and post-doctoral research projects.
