The following programs are run for teachers and school students throughout the year.

Hop to it! Teacher PD
Primary and secondary teachers are invited to spend a day at Perth Zoo hearing about the latest in frog research and conservation from leading local scientists and share ideas for conservation action in your school or community. Fantastic speakers, new ideas, great resources.
Dates: Wednesday 9 July, Wednesday 1 October
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm.
Cost: $80.00 per teacher (includes lunch).

Frog Chorus (Years P-3)
Costume and movement combine to create an interactive education experience that focuses on the life cycle of a frog.
Cost: $10.00 per student; 1 adult per 5 students admitted free of charge.
Frogology 101 (Years 4-7)
Amphibian populations are recognised as an important indicator of the health of our environment. Find out more about the crisis facing our amphibian friends and some of the measures being taken to save these amazing animals.
Cost: $10.00 per student; 1 adult per 10 students admitted free of charge.
There’s More to Building Frog-friendly Gardens...
(Years 4-7)
There’s more to building a frog-friendly habitat than digging a hole or filling a container with plants and water. Begin a Technology and Enterprise journey by investigating the issues that need to be considered when creating a functional, aesthetic and environmentally-friendly amphibian abode.
Cost: $10.00 per student; 1 adult per 10 students admitted free of charge.
Mistaken Identity (Years 8-10)
Students are provided with an overview of the characteristics of amphibians. They will use this knowledge to leap frog into developing an identification key to correctly tell the difference between native frogs and Cane Toads.
